3 in 1. This pattern is designed so that you can knit it according to your skill level and it helps you to improve your knitting skills.
Level 1 is really for beginners - if you can cast on, knit, and bind off. Level 2 is a bit more advanced, with purl stitches and fringe at the end. And Level 3 is for the pros among you - in brioche stitch. This requires concentration. The pattern is not difficult, but you shouldn't get tangled up or drop a stitch. It shows ;-)
