Free pattern for an easy crochet bag that's finished in 4 hours.
For the crochet bag, you will need the following:
- 1 large roll of ribbon
- 1 crochet hook, size 12mm
The satin ribbon comes in many vibrant colors. You can pre-order ribbon individually in many different colors from us at our store on Linienstraße. See all colors here and send us an email if you would like to order. One roll costs 30,-. If you want to crochet a larger bag, it's better to order 2 rolls.
Crochet Bag Pattern:
Size approx. 24cm x 15cm (handle length approx. 60cm)
Chain 15 stitches and single crochet into these stitches once in a round.
Crochet the bottom edge:
For the next round, single crochet only into the back loop of the stitch.
Then continue crocheting in rounds with single crochet stitches (through both loops of the stitch) until a height of approx. 15cm or your desired height is reached.
Crochet the handle:
In the next round, the handles are formed. To do this, crochet back and forth over 4 stitches on the narrow part of the bag. Tip: To crochet straight, you always need to chain one at the end of the row. Crochet for a total height of 20 cm.
Fold the ends of the handle together and crochet them together with slip stitches, then crochet back again and attach the handle on the second side. Weave in the ends. Pull a thread approximately 20cm long through 2-3 places and form a bow.
